About Kate Jones-Mamba

I am a writer, drama producer and educator from the UK, currently based between the beautiful Kingdom of Eswatini and the South of England, but I offer online tutoring across most timezones.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Drama & Literature from the University of Essex and became TEFL qualified in January 2025.

My mission is to help students discover the power of their own voices, creativity and imaginations. I also believe that a good education should be accessible to all, so I keep my fees affordable to allow better access to my services.

My international teaching journey spans both vibrant physical classrooms and dynamic digital spaces. Most recently, I designed and led immersive primary drama workshops in Eswatini, culminating in writing and directing a full-scale theatrical production with my elementary students.

Alongside my community theatre work, I have extensive experience coaching global learners online, specialising in ESL fluency (I am a native English speaker), English Language and Literature, and Creative Writing. In the UK, I have provided support with English Language GCSE exam preparation, 12+ and 13+ English exams, English Literature IGCSE and A-level tuition, and support with elite scholarship applications.

When I am not tutoring or at my writing desk, you can usually find me lost in a great book, birdwatching, or inventing fantastical bedtime stories with my two sons.
